I know it took me a bit too long, but I feel like the whole story with my suitcase is coming to an end. Mid June I received a letter from them letting me know that they accept their liability and are willing to provide me with approx. 820 shiny gold coins (pound sterling). I was informed that the cheque should reach me within four weeks. Yesterday, I felt like getting a bit frustrated, so I gave them a call. A very “polite” person on the other side of the line informed me that they should be in position to send me the cheque in a week. Thus, three months ago they said they need 4 weeks to send the cheque while now they require only one week. Using a simple analogy we can deduct that:

(4 weeks – 1 week) = 3 months,

Therefore,1 week in Spanish time equals to 1 month in English time.
